His career in the legal profession began with his admission as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 1997. He was articled to one of the most prominent Criminal Lawyers in South Wales and moved on to become an Associate at a prestigious Chambers 500 directory firm of solicitors.
Andrew was then invited to take up a role with the UK Public Defender Service, where he served as the Head of two offices in South Wales. The Public Defender Office specializes in Criminal Law Defence, focusing on serious crime and criminal representation in both the Higher and Lower Courts in the UK. He is also specialist in advice for people under arrest at the Police Station. Notably, he retains his admission in the United Kingdom.
Since his admission in Australia, Andrew has practiced predominantly in North Brisbane and the broader Brisbane area, in Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts. Andrew is Duty Lawyer, who maintains his appearances in the North Brisbane Courts. His extensive experience in Criminal Law spans Magistrates Court advocacy and handling more complex cases, such as fraud, sexual offences, assaults, and other serious crimes, in the District and Supreme Court of Queensland.
